Business Partnership Facility: Bold pitches for high-impact ventures
Multi-country 05.06.2025 Project

Impact-focused entrepreneurs
Eight visionary entrepreneurs and their local partners recently took the stage for the latest round of the Business Partnership Facility (BPF). After making it through the pre-selection and submitting a full proposal, they were invited to pitch their high-impact solutions to the Selection Committee.
Driving Innovation for Sustainable Development
Representing EU-based enterprises working hand-in-hand with local partners in developing countries, these innovators showcased bold initiatives across sectors such as agriculture, health, and FinTech — all aiming to accelerate progress towards the Sustainable Development Goals.
The Selection Committee — composed of representatives from Luxembourg’s Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs, Defence, Development Cooperation and Foreign Trade, the Ministry of the Economy, the Chamber of Commerce and LuxDev — praised the quality and ambition of the proposals.
Selected projects will now receive up to EUR 200,000 in co-financing — a powerful boost to move forward.
A big thank you to the Committee members for their support and commitment to this initiative, which demonstrates how entrepreneurial innovation can be a serious driver of sustainable development.
